Prezi Nav ControlsIs your learning design 3-dimensional?  Look at this. I’ve discovered Prezi, a new tool out this year and find it captivating. Yes, I know that may sound strange. Try it free to see what I mean. I’ve been playing around with it for several months and find its design and features intuitive and refreshingly simple. It blows the definition of “learner engagement” right out of the water. In fact, the risk of using this tool is too much engagement if placed in the wrong hands.  The zooming nature of this tool can create a dizzying feeling if over used.  It’s for this reason that, if given to unqualified hands, the outcome will not only be horribly confusing design but design that will literally make you nauseated.

So…why would you want 3D design? Would you use this? How so?

Hi, thanks for the post! You can avoid the dizzyness effect if you zoom out showing the big picture instead of doing long sideways moves in your prezi!
